  Have been in for a casual beer in the past but today decided to have lunch. Had a 400grm ribeye paid $36 dollars and asked for medium rare. Unfortunately it was dry and cooked well through. Very disappointed as I was looking to enjoy some meat I paid good money for. Spoke to the chef and asked about the cooking and he said it was correct for what I asked for. I suggest if you like your meat juicy and soft you need to tell them directly, as there seems to be a difference of opinion on what is medium rare. Bar staff are super friendly and the beer garden and out door area is great!

  Swans pub on big screen, has nrl as well. Music going most of the time and offer great pub food. Good atmosphere and only a short walk to buses, cabs and Enmore Theatre.

  I know a lot of people complain about the new menu but I like it. Food here is always cooked perfectly and very tasty. I can't faulty it. I have to point out...last time I was here there was a couple at the table behind us and they had both ordered the ribs. They were taking pictures of their food and complaining that it looks disgusting and that the plate was less then half full. I had to turn around and see what they were talking about. I think there were after a free meal cause it looked good to me and their plates were only less than half full because THEY HAD EATEN HALF OF THEIR RIBS AND CHIPS! Pretty sad behavior.....

  Lunched yesterday I had the beef tartare. The best I have had in a very long time. Food is always good and the menu is imaginitve. Annie
