Had an amazing time! Amazing vibe, music, service and food. Very impressed. We came on a Dimmi special last minute not knowing much about the place and decided to take a chance. Very glad we did! Only thing I would recommend is loose leaf tea for the pots. But overall had such amazing food! 100% coming back again! Thank you!

We're hard core Japanese food fans so when we visited Hicksons Izakaya we had pretty high expectations. Greeted by Omar the owner and the super friendly staff, we grabbed a table with an amazing view of Walsh Bay. What's most impressive is the quality of the food in every dish we tried. It's right up there with the same quality we've experienced in Tokyo itself. Definitely try the stunning scallops! Thanks to the whole Hicksons Izakaya crew for an memorable experience and hosting us so well.

A bit of a tourist trap. 3/5 food. Fish quality seemed ok, but nigiri was just a slab of fish on rice. No precision cuts, light searing options, wasabi, or favourable exhibition of the fish. 1/5 drink. I ordered the margarita, and it taste link watered down tequila with a squeeze of lime. The glass was over-salted. 2/5 value. 5/5 view - expose deck looking on Walsh Bay
