This has been a disappointing experience starting with the online booking and payment getting lost requiring we wait in reception for over one hour while it was resolved. Finally getting the key we found there was only one lift working so we had to wait for several loads before we could enter. The corridor for our floor had a strong mouldy smell. Luckily the room was was slightly better but did require a few squirts off air freshener. Yet again I have been caught out with hotels that advertise free wifi only to find you have to be sitting in the lobby to use it. Overall a disappointing experience, I am sure there must be better value for money hotels in Cairns.
