  This is one venue that is severely underrated. They catered for our party of 18 and everyone was satisfied (some even more) with the service provided by all the staff. Size isn't everything. Give it a chance and you will ne pleasantly surprised. I look forward to coming back again.

  I've been to the Strand a few times in the last few weeks. As you enter, there is a smallish bar area and then as you pass through, you come into a seating/dining area for the restaurant. I think there may be a garden out back too. I've tried a parmi and a curry here and both were really good. At the bar, they generally have your standard beers but also a few taps that seem to rotate with either smaller craft options or the semi-mass produced ones too. Interestingly, they have a great spirits bar - excellent gin.
